It is time for the Legislature to release the details of the property tax amendment to go before the voters in January.

Yes, it is fairly easy to understand the "Super Exemption". The details of the cap are what will decide how this amendment will help taxpayers. The cap is to be based on personal income and new construction. Just how much of a cap will it be? An average of 5%, 4%, 3%? or maybe more..Without this information there is no way to calculate the average tax increase per year.
